Peter Smith serves as Senior Vice President of Logistics Technology at Penske Logistics where he guides the development and deployment of information systems designed to support supply chain management activities across a broad mix of industries. Mr. Smith joined Penske Logistics as a result of the company's acquisition of Leaseway Transportation in 1995. Prior to joining Penske, he served as President of Leaseway's General Transportation Group and led the Company's quality improvement initiative. Smith also held positions with American Airlines, working on the Sabre reservation system, and with Avis and Merrill Lynch as part of their information systems management teams. Mr. Smith is a native of England and received his education at Kings College, Durham University. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two sons and reside in the Cleveland area
