Dr. Kleban is responsible for certain technical aspects of Stillwater's new product development, especially those with complex mathematical features. He also enjoys helping the Company function well by fostering an environment that successfully integrates scientific challenges and human resources. Dr. Kleban is a theoretician with extensive experience in statistical mechanics, surface science and related mathematics. Dr. Kleban is also a co-founder of LASST (the Laboratory for Surface Science and Technology), a unit of the University of Maine closely associated with Stillwater. Dr. Kleban received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Physics from Brandeis University and his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Antioch College. Prior to joining the University of Maine, he held postdoctoral and Visiting Assistant Professor positions at the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Wisconsin. |
