With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Pete has a diverse background in mechanical engineering and project management. His extensive work portfolio includes projects in all of the basic building types, with construction budgets of up to $1 billion. Projects include the University of Michigan Medical Sciences Research Building III, the Compuware New Headquarters Building, Michigan State University Pavilion: Agriculture and Livestock Education Center.
Pete has a bachelor of mechanical engineering, cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers and past president of the Detroit chapter. He is also a member of the Engineering Society of Detroit and National Society of Professional Engineers.
Petehas been deeply involved in ASHRAE for many years and was elected to the grade of Fellow by the ASHRAE Board of Directors. The title of "Fellow" is granted to a member of ASHRAE who has made substantial contributions and has attained distinction in this field of engineering. Pete is one of only six individuals from the Detroit Chapter who have been named for such an honor since 1959. |
