A co-founder of the company, Mr. Burke is responsible for identifying and pursuing new development opportunities. As a CPA, he is also involved in certain organizational financial areas, such as the company�s bank financing. Prior to co-founding Brandywine, Mr. Burke, licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, worked for PriceWaterhouse for eight years after graduating from Philadelphia University. He then served as the CFO of a large real estate management company, where he was primarily responsible for the acquisition and financing of over 150 shopping centers. Mr. Burke has over 20 years of health care experience, including serving as the President of the MeadowView Group, which was merged into the company in December 1996. He has had significant involvement in the development and acquisition of each of the company's Assisted Living Communities. Mr. Burke earned a Master�s Degree from Villanova University. He has served on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Health Care Association since 1998 and was its Acting Chairman in 2000. He was a senior advisor to U.S. Senator Bill Bradley�s 2000 Presidential Campaign, and served as Campaign Treasurer for all three of Senator Bradley�s U.S. Senate elections. From 1990 to 1996, Mr. Burke served as the Vice Chairman of the Delaware River Port Authority, the leading transportation entity in the Metropolitan Philadelphia Area. Mr. Burke is the Treasurer of The Leap Academy Charter School in Camden, NJ.
