Peter is the co-chair of the firm�s emerging companies practice, a leader of the firm's renewable energy practice and is a partner in the firm�s corporate group. He devotes his time to securities law, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, private company transactions, ethanol and biodiesel transactions and general corporate counseling. Peter has been the lead attorney on significant transactions for diverse clients, including Honeywell, ValueVision Media, Wagner Spray Tech Corporation, The Freeman Companies, Uni-Select USA, and Celleration as well as advising renewable energy clients, AdvancedBioEnergy and Koda Energy. Peter has also spent time working with the firm�s publicly held clients, including preparing disclosure documents such as proxy statements, offering memoranda and prospectuses and advising clients on matters arising under Federal securities laws. As co-chair of the firm�s emerging companies practice, Peter focuses on working with the firm�s venture capital clients as well as medical device, biotech and other technology-related rapidly growing companies. Since joining Faegre & Benson, Peter has practiced on a wide variety of corporate matters, with a focus on corporate mergers and acquisitions, domestic and overseas joint ventures and other strategic alliances. Peter�s international transactional experience includes matters in Brazil, France, Japan, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands as well as various international trade law issues.Peter speaks at business development seminars and continuing legal education forums on various corporate matters. While in law school, Peter served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law, the nation�s second oldest international legal periodical, and received the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship from the United States Arms Control and Disarmament Agency for his work on international weapons manufacturing. Prior to attending law school, Peter was an officer in the United States Army, serving in both Europe and in combat operations in southwest Asia during Operation Desert Storm. |
