Peter R. Marra joined Brown Harris Stevens in May of 2004 as Executive Vice President and opened its Carnegie Hill location in Manhattan. Formerly the President and an owner of William B. May Company for twenty five years, Peter was the driving force of expansion at William B. May, which consisted of three offices and forty-five salespeople in 1980 when he arrived. Peter built the firm to seven offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Westchester and over two hundred salespeople. Peter is active member of the Real Estate Board of New York where he is a member of the Board of Governors, past co-chairman of the Residential Board of Directors, three time co-chairman of the Interfirm Forum and chairman of the Ethics Committee. His colleagues honored Peter in 1999 with the distinctive Henry Foster Award, presented by the Board for his outstanding record of achievement in residential real estate, for having displayed the character and conduct that have brought credit to the profession and for his long standing commitment to charity work in our community. Peter is the sales manager of the forty salesperson office of Brown Harris Stevens which is located on the Southeast corner of 84th Street and Madison Avenue. He also oversees the Brooklyn offices of Brown Harris Stevens which are located in Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope and he is actively involved in the Company�s relocation division. |
