Peter Chapman has responsibility for several strategic initiatives that will help transition the company into the national leader in electronic document management. He is also involved in short-term and long-range business planning, formulating sales and marketing strategies, and developing policies and procedures to support the growth of the company in key areas such as finance and human resources. Prior to joining DoxTek, Mr. Chapman was an independent business consultant, specializing in business and financial planning for startup and turnaround ventures, facilitating strategic alliances and implementing effective marketing, advertising and sales systems for small to medium companies. He was formerly Vice President and General Manager of an international consulting firm dedicated to the implementation and integration of packaged software. In addition to having operational and P & L responsibility, he successfully negotiated large multi-million dollar contracts in the public and private sectors, and developed and managed strategic relationships with partners, clients and professional associations. Mr. Chapman has over thirty-five years varied business experience in information technology, public and private sector consulting, and business management, including strategic planning, sales and marketing, finance, human resources, operations management and P & L responsibility. He has excellent interpersonal and team building skills and extensive public speaking experience, including international, national and local conferences and meetings of professional associations and vendor user groups. |
