Peter Dinan, who became President in 1996, started Conway Office Products, Inc. with Jim Conway in April 1976. During the first eight years, Mr. Dinan developed the sales and marketing areas of the company. In 1984 he became General Manager with responsibilities for all sales functions including both internal telemarketing for supplies sales and outside marketing of copier and other business equipment hardware. He was also responsible for the service department, supervising its improvements in efficiencies and customer responsiveness. Other miscellaneous functions such as advertising, purchasing, and inventory control were also his responsibility. During the 20 year period, the company has grown to over $23 million in revenues. |
