A geologist with over 50 years of mineral exploration experience. Owner of Prospecting Geophysics Ltd, a geophysical consulting company with operations in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and Europe. Mr. Ferderber is accredited with assisting in the discovery of eight gold deposits in Canada including Sleeping Giant and Hemlo as well as being instrumental in Aurizon Mines Ltd's acquisition of the Sleeping Giant mine and it's former Beaufor mine. Mr. Ferderber is a member of the Prospector and Developers Association of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and was a founding member and director of the Quebec Prospectors Association. Mr. Ferderber was distinguished in 1979 as the "Prospector of the Year" in Canada and the province of Quebec for the discovery of the Belmoral mine in Val d'Or, Quebec. Mr. Ferderber is currently a director of several junior resource companies, including Aurizon Mines Ltd and Louvicourt Gold Mines Inc. |
