Peter Kent directs and oversees ATD's financial management, works with senior management to identify potential market opportunities and synergies and participates in the development of the company's growth strategy. Prior to joining ATD, Kent was CFO and COO of Firebrand Financial Group, a holding company for securities firms and investment banks covering the retail, institutional and discount sectors. In this capacity, he managed a series of acquisitions, start-ups and divestitures. Earlier, Kent held a variety of executive positions in finance and business operations in other firms including, Consolidated Waste Services of America where he served as chairman and CEO. While there, he raised over $10 million in venture capital funding and managed a series of five acquisitions. During his tenure in the industry, Kent, as a principal or officer, has successfully raised in excess of $110 million for companies, taken two companies public and been involved in over 25 acquisitions or divestitures. Kent serves on the Board of Directors for Trident United Way and previously served on the Board for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. Kent holds a Bachelor of Science and MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a CPA, trained at Arthur Anderson & Co. |
