Peter Relan is Senior Vice President of Technology for Webvan Group, Inc. He oversees all technology development and deployment at Webvan. He is also on the Management Committee, which defines the strategy of the company. He has over 12 years of experience in the computer industry, including broad management experience. Peter spent several years at Oracle as the Vice President of the Internet division, where he oversaw product development for Oracle's Internet server software and was a key strategist and leader at Oracle for Internet-related business and network computing architecture. Prior to Oracle, Peter spent six years at Hewlett-Packard as Principal Engineer of HP Openview, including one year as an HP Resident Fellow at Stanford University.
