How would you describe your career path to reach your current position? When I first started at Teradyne I was a co-op working as a system technician. When I finished school I was hired as a test engineer here. I am currently the lead test engineer for the FLEX platform.
Why did you choose Teradyne? I chose Teradyne because it is the leading Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) vendor in the semiconductor test market. I truly believed that I could help add to Teradyne's success.
What is most challenging about your job? The most challenging aspect of my job is trying to stay organized so that I can find time to fit everything in. My department is very fast paced so different problems are always coming up.
What do you love about your job or what do you find most rewarding? The one thing I love most about my job is the people I work with. I work with a great core group of people that make coming to work everyday enjoyable. The thing I find most rewarding is finding solutions to problems. It�s a great feeling to know that the problems that I am helping to solve have such an impact on our company's success.
How do you think the people at Teradyne differ from those you might find in other companies? The people at Teradyne are very respectful and helpful. It�s almost like a family here - everyone is willing to help and are very friendly. When the spring and summer arrive, lots of people are usually outside enjoying the nice weather around the campus.
Please describe how you view the corporate culture. What do you like most about it? To someone new, there is a lot to learn about the corporate culture. What I enjoy the most about the corporate culture are the lessons learned. So many things can be learned by working with a diverse group of people. You can always learn something new from the people you work with.
