Peter Schatzmann is a Swiss national with Australian citizenship and was educated in his native hometown of Zurich, Switzerland. His years of apprenticing and learning took him from Switzerland to Africa, Middle East and Asia, working with highly regarded hotel companies and restaurant operations. He held Executive Chef positions with prestigious international hotel chains in Asia, South Pacific, Australia and Corporate Senior Management positions in India and the Philippines. Peter graduated from the Technical College for Gastronomy in Zurich, Switzerland, with a Professional Chef�s Apprenticeship Certification. He also attended various certification courses on leadership skills, training and communication and people management skills during his seven-year tenure with Hyatt International. His general management and concept development skills have been sharpened during 16 hotel openings. Peter has always been active in promoting the culinary trade and is still today a member of Toque Blanche International, Australian Chefs Association, Qld. Chapter, Hong Kong Chefs Association and Global Hoteliers Club. He is fluent in German and English. |
