His experience has been particularly focused in liability insurance and non-marine reinsurance. Peter is identified as an expert in the field of Insurance and Reinsurance law in the UK Legal 500, Chambers Legal UK and Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Insurance and Reinsurance Lawyers. Advising QBE International Insurance in connection with the investigation, analysis and trial of complex legal and technical issues arising out of the attack on World Trade Center on 11 September 2001 and specifically, the New York litigation brought by Silverstein Properties.
Advising ten Axa Re Group companies, four CNA Group companies and two Royal & Sun Alliance companies in separate arbitration proceedings in connection with their disputes concerning reinsurances of the KWELM companies.
Advising a well-known international insurance group in the recent Commercial Court litigation involving fraud allegations by Cable & Wireless and its insurance captive, Pender Insurance and multiple defendants.
Advising a leading London market reinsurer in an international arbitration relating to the cession of a severely loss-making portfolio of residual value auto insurance in North America.
Advising leading insurers and reinsurers in connection with UK regulatory issues and the current EU sectoral inquiry into commercial insurance and reinsurance.
Advising the London office of a German insurance group in connection with their arbitration with Lloyd�s Syndicates concerning the proper application and allocation of professional indemnity claims to an excess of loss contract.
