Peter Tomassi brings to GoalQuest more than 15 years of experience in publishing, research, direct marketing, interactive learning and online media product development. His role at the company leverages his understanding of Web-based communication and engagement. He previously served as Executive Producer, Editor-in-Chief at LookSmart (Nasdaq: LOOK). Tomassi oversaw the development of consumer and syndicated Web content in North America, Australia and Europe. Earlier in his career, he became the youngest senior editor on record at Reader's Digest (NYSE: RDA). Tomassi led the publisher's entry into the interactive media market, spearheading new product development with partners such as America Online, Microsoft, Apple and Philips. Tomassi received his B.A. from Columbia College (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and holds an M.F.A. from Columbia. In 2000, he was distinguished as a Dean's Fellow by the Graduate School of the Arts. Tomassi also founded Helvidius, one of Columbia's most successful public policy publications, which has featured the work of eminent scholars and policy makers, including former President Bill Clinton, James D. Wolfensohn (President of the World Bank) and Daniel Patrick Moynihan. |
