Peyton Keaton focuses his practice on representing management in both labor and employment law matters. His experience includes advising employers on various employment issues, including federal and state anti-discrimination statutes, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Peyton represents employers in state and federal cases and before the United States Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and before other federal, state and local regulatory agencies. He regularly conducts management training on developments in various employment and labor laws.
Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Peyton spent over 10 years as a human resources and labor relations consultant where he served as Senior Vice President of a national management consulting firm.
He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Florida Bar, Labor and Employment section and Young Lawyers Division.
During law school, Peyton was a member of the Florida A&M University Law Review.
