Phil Neray brings more than 20 years of experience in successfully introducing advanced technology to mainstream users and organizations. Phil was previously senior director of worldwide strategic marketing for Symantec�s Application and Infrastructure Management business unit. He joined Symantec in February 2004 as a result of its acquisition of ON Technology, where he was vice president of marketing. During his seven-year tenure at ON Technology, Phil played a key role in growing ON�s enterprise security and configuration management revenue by over 700%. Phil previously held senior marketing roles at Alias Research (special effects software for Hollywood films, video games and the Web, acquired by Silicon Graphics for $365 million) and Alliant Computer Systems (network-based UNIX supercomputers), and was a product manager for Digital Equipment Corp. He started his career as a field operations engineer with Schlumberger on remote oil rigs in South America. Phil holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from McGill University, where he graduated with distinction. |
