As CTO and a co-founder of Entrisphere, Phil is responsible for the system architecture and detailed engineering design of the company�s products. He brings over 10 years of applied industrial experience in computing and communication. Over the course of his career, his innovative, pragmatic system designs have led to developments of several communications software, access, and switching systems. Prior to Entrisphere, Phil was the lead architect and engineer for a truly converged (voice and data) network element developed by Lucent Technologies' Internetworking Systems business unit. Earlier at Bell Labs and Lucent, he was a technical principal behind the creation of Inferno�, a network operating system designed to provide information services for the public data networks of the future. While at Bell Labs, he became a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff and was acknowledged as a Bell Labs Fellow for sustained contributions in distributed computing and converged packet-switching systems. |
