Philip E. Milch joined Campbell & Levine in 1990. Mr. Milch's practice is concentrated on Section 524(g) asbestos settlement trusts, mass tort bankruptcies, insolvency and general bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Milch has served as counsel in major bankruptcy cases in the Western District of Pennsylvania, representing both debtors and unsecured creditors. He has specific expertise representing asbestos creditors committees in major asbestos-related bankruptcies and Section 524(g) asbestos settlement trusts.
Listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Mr. Milch is the author of Review in Bankruptcy Cases, Chapter 16, Roth, Goldberger & McGough; Federal Appellate Practice - Third Circuit (Lawyers Cooperative Publishing, 1996). An adjunct professor at Duquesne University School of Law, Mr. Milch received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center in 1988. While at Georgetown, he served as both a member and editor of Law & Policy in International Business.
Mr. Milch, a Pittsburgh native, graduated with honors from John Hopkins University. Prior to attending law school, he received a bachelor in Talmudic Law from the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore. Admitted to the Bar in 1988, Pennsylvania, Mr. Milch is also admitted to practice before the U. S Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; and the U.S District Court in the Western District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Milch is a member of the Allegheny, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. |
