Tax examination representation at Internal Revenue Service, New York, California, Illinois and other state taxing authorities. Current use of Limited Liability Companies (LLC's) and Family Limited Partnerships to reduce tax expense and provide asset protection planning. Philip is also a registered Investment Adviser under the Investment Advisers laws of New York and New Jersey.

He is one of the leading authorities on NYS Empire Zone Benefits and Economic Development issues, including Federal Empowerment Zone and Renewal Community Issues. He is a featured speaker on Empire Zone Benefits, mergers and acquisitions, and other tax topics. Philip has appeared on Cablevision's News 12 Westchester to discuss Empire Zone opportunities and has been interviewed in articles for Crain's New York Business and Inc. Magazine. He has also published articles on individual and corporate taxation. Philip has also represented the CPA profession through the CPA Ambassador Program sponsored by the AICPA and New York State Society of CPAs.
Estate and income tax planning for high net worth individuals including the use of various types of trusts to maximize overall family wealth; negotiations for multimillion dollar executive compensation agreements to assure shareholder approvals and U.S. tax deductibility. Philip also consults on structuring of prenuptial and divorce agreements. In addition, he is involved in tax planning for real estate transactions, tax-free exchanges and other business transactions - sales, acquisitions and reorganizations.
Philip is a member of the AICPA and the new York State Society of CPA's and serves on the New York, Multistate and Local Taxation Committee. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and has an MBA in Taxation from St. John's University.
