Philip L. Rice is president and chief executive officer of National City Bank and executive vice president of National City Corporation. He is responsible for the nine corporate banking regions: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Mid-Ohio, Northern Ohio, Southern Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Rice joined National City in 1980 as a management trainee. He has most recently served as president of the state of Ohio for National City�s Corporate Banking business unit, managed the regional and national Commercial Real Estate businesses, which included acquired companies such as, Capstone and RED Capital. He has also held a variety of positions throughout his tenure in the strategic planning and investment banking operations and has provided merger and acquisition, valuation and financial advisory services, and served as managing director of National City Venture.
He has a bachelor�s degree in business administration from the University of Akron and a master�s degree in business administration from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. |
