Mr. Philip Gouin is a Principal with Machine Vision Consulting (MVC) with over 20 years of machine vision experience ranging from the development of core vision algorithms to product and project delivery management. He is an experienced leader of software development, having managed many successful product introductions from conception through release. Mr. Gouin has strong C++ development skills and is highly proficient in many Cognex products including CVL, VisionPro, OMI, PVE, and Checkpoint. Mr. Gouin works with prospective clients to fully understand the machine vision requirements, translating them into a working design. He then personally manages the delivery of the project, working closely with the project engineer and the customer.
