Phillip Zerbo, vice president of content services, leads a talented and dedicated team that is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the content databases and user interfaces that drive Guidester applications.
Zerbo brings fifteen years of product development experience to Guidester, including extensive work in database development and quality assurance for high-profile software and Web-based applications. Zerbo has held a series of progressively responsible positions, in the library service sector with Faxon Research Services and EBSCO Publishing, in search as one of the first employees of Northern Light Technology, and in content management with INSO and eBusiness Technologies.
Zerbo studied liberal arts at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County before completing his studies in political science at the University of Oregon. A published author and avid philanthropist, Zerbo volunteers his time to the Mockingbird Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for music education for children. |
