Arnold has more than 30 years of banking experience. She joined BB&T in 2000 with the acquisition of One Valley Bancorp. While there she was the Chief Operating Officer from 1994-2000 President and CEO from 1991-2000 and Commissioner of Banking of West Virginia from 1979-1983. Arnold was named president of the West Virginia-Central Region in 2000.
