Prasanta has more than 15 years in R&D building enterprise and consumer-facing server products for companies such as Tandem, Sybase, Netscape, AOL, and Grand Central. Currently working at Yahoo!, he has been deeply involved in distributed database, LDAP, Web Services, SOA and Identity technologies. Prasanta has participated in various standard organizations such as IETF and OASIS, and has co-authored RFC 2820 and other Internet drafts. He holds 3 patents, with more pending.
Prasanta has a M.S. degree from University of Florida, Gainesville. Besides work and parental duties, he is actively involved in the community and is a board member of various non-profit/charity organizations.
