R. B. Moore of Lynchburg, Va., was elected to the Board of Directors on November 1, 2007. Moore is a past president of the Virginia Jurisdiction, and has served on the National Legislative Committee and National Jurisdictional Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Southwest Virginia Woodmen of the World Fraternal Program, Inc., and an active member of Lodge 71 in Appomattox, Va., where he served as president. Moore he was elected 1st Vice President of the Virginia Fraternal Congress. He was selected as "Fraternalist of the Year" for the commonwealth of Virginia in 1985, and is a three-time recipient of the Mr. Woodman award (1965, 1974 and 1984). He served as delegate to the Woodmen of the World National Convention in 1969, 2001 and 2005. |
