Rachel Hughs - Physical therapist since 2003. Working at Rady Children's since June 2005. Rachel specializes in pediatrics. She initially worked in Africa for one year doing primary spinal cord injuries and pediatrics before moving to Los Angeles to work with pediatrics in a variety of settings, including early intervention home-based care, schools and clinic-based care. She is currently working at Children's North County center. Rachel received her Bachelors and Masters in Physical Therapy at Boston University. Rachel's goal in working at Children's is to incorporate play-based therapy into childrens' daily activities and to give their parents the tools they need to assist their children in reaching their maximum functional potential. |
