Rachel Shapiro specializes in placements in the Philadelphia market where her focus is in lateral partner and in-house counsel placements. She has placed attorneys in all practice areas including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, SEC Enforcement and ERISA.
Prior to joining MLA, Rachel was one of the top recruiters in the legal division of the nation's largest executive recruiting company. There she assisted law firms ranging in size from 25 to 1,300 attorneys in hiring associates of all levels in their corporate, litigation and IP departments. Rachel has also successfully conducted searches for in-house counsel in the internet, investment banking, transportation, retail and manufacturing industries.
As a practicing attorney, Rachel worked at a boutique law firm in San Francisco which specializes in Securities and Antitrust class-action litigation, and also at a law firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina that specializes in International law.
Rachel earned her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin (go Badgers!) and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco.
Outside of the office, Rachel is an up-and-coming glass working artist and enjoys renovating old homes and drinking a fine glass of wine afterward. |
