Rainey Gray has over 26 years of experience in the capital markets industry. Rainey began his career with Edward Jones as a broker and eventually became an assistant compliance director at the firm. Rainey then became the CEO of Boatmen's Investment Services, a subsidiary of The Boatmen's National Bank of St. Louis, and later became the CEO of AmeriStar Capital Markets, the retail and institutional investment arm of First American National Bank. During Rainey's tenure at Boatmen's, his program was widely recognized as one of the top retail bank brokerages in the country.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, he hosted a weekly radio show on KMOX in St. Louis discussing the economy and the financial markets. Rainey served as a board member of the Bank Securities Association (now the Bank Insurance and Securities Association) from 1992 to 1995, serving as its President in 1995. In 1994 he was a member of the NASD District Four Business Conduct Committee, and served as a member of the Board of Trustees of The University of the South (Sewanee) from 1988 to 1994.
Currently Rainey is the CEO of 1st BridgeHouse Securities, LLC, an NASD member firm that acts as an investment banker in raising capital for medium to smaller target firms and in forming syndicates with other NASD member firms to place these transactions. He is currently licensed with the NASD as a General Securities Principal and a General Securities Representative. Rainey is also the President of 1st BridgeHouse Consulting, LLC, a firm that provides advice and regulatory services to broker-dealers, banks, credit unions, foreign institutions, and other capital market participants regarding capital market regulatory issues. Rainey is located in Franklin, Tennessee. |
