Rajat Gupta is Managing Director of Beceem Communications Private LTD., Beceem's development arm of the company in India. Prior to Beceem, he served as Managing Director of Cypress Semiconductor India, where he was responsible for the P&L of Indian operations. Previously, he was Vice President of Technology Development at Arcus Technology, where he developed embedded microprocessors, analog and mixed signal design technology to address the emerging mixed-signal IP market. Gupta was also Design Manager at Semi-Conductor Complex Ltd., where he led design teams in the development of several ASICs for defense, space and other government agencies. Rajat obtained his B.E. from Calcutta University in 1980 and a master of technology in integrated electronics and circuits from IIT, Delhi. He holds three patents and is a senior member of IEEE. |
