Ralph Hill serves as President of Exploration and Production as well as Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of Apco Argentina. Hill previously served as senior vice president and general
manager of Williams� petroleum services and exploration and production units. He joined the
company in 1981 as a financial planning analyst for Williams Exploration Company. Since then
he has served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility including vice president of
Williams Gas Marketing vice president and general manager of Williams Production Company
and Williams Field Services Gas and Liquids Resources and vice president and general manager
of the exploration and production unit.
Education
Hill earned a bachelor�s in finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1981 and an
MBA from the University of Tulsa in 1984.
Industry/Community Involvement
Hill is a member of the Upstream Committee of the American Petroleum Institute (API) and is a
member of the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States (IPAMS) Colorado Oil &
Gas Association (COGA) and the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Hill also
serves on the Executive Committee of the Mid-continent Oil & Gas Association. He has served
on the Natural Gas Committee of the Independent Petroleum Association of America and has
served on the board of the Petroleum Club.
Hill is currently a member of the board of directors of the American Heart Association Youth
Services of Tulsa Inc. and of the Thomas Gilcrease Museum Association. He and his wife
Melanie are leading the Holland Hall School Annual Development Fund for 2005-06. Hill has
been a member of the St. Nicholas Club of Tulsa which works with the Tulsa Boys Home and
Children�s Hospital. Hill chaired the Energy Services Division and Independents Division cabinets
of the United Way in 1995 and 1996. He also served as a member of the St. Dunstan�s
Episcopal Church Vestry from 1996-99.
Speaking Experience
Hill has presented or been a panelist at various industry functions and regularly gives
presentations to Williams� board of directors and industry analysts/investors. |
