Dr. Ralph Fretz is the Director of Assessment and Research for Community Education Centers. After earning his M.S.W. from Columbia University in 1982, Dr. Fretz supervised an adolescent day treatment center. He has also worked as the supervisor of an outpatient mental health clinic. In 1998, Dr. Fretz earned his Ph.D. from Seton Hall School of Professional Psychology. His dissertation was selected for the Distinguished Dissertation Award. Dr. Fretz has worked with a variety of population including children, juvenile and adult offenders, psychiatric inpatients and sex offenders. His areas of interest include outcome research and family interactions in high conflict families. Dr. Fretz�s work has been published in corrections journals, including Corrections Today and Best Practices. He was the co-author of a manual for a nationally used risk assessment instrument and has given presentations on a variety of topics, including the development of Assessment Centers and family therapy techniques. |
