Ralph�s dairy farm has been in the family 125 years. He and he and his sons milk 100 Holsteins on 333 acres and their operation was named the Vermont Dairy Farm of the Year in 2006. They received a similar honor, the Franklin County Dairy of the Year, in 1983. Ralph is on the DFA Fluid Marketing and Public Policy Committee and is on the Northeast Area Council Board. He is the president and past vice president of St. Albans Cooperative Creamery, and a member of the New England Dairy Promotion Board and of the CWT Committee on the National Milk Producers Federation Board. For 13 years he served on his town�s school board and was chairman for 10 of those years. Ralph is a trustee for his church. He also was past director of the Genex Cooperative for 11 years and past treasurer of United Dairy Industry Association. |
