Rami Amit, Chief Technology Officer, joined VocalTec in 1993 as its first employee, and has been with the company since the infancy of the VoIP industry. Mr. Amit held several key positions at VocalTec throughout the years, including Vice President Product Management and previously leading VocalTec�s web enabled call center solutions development, which was spun out of VocalTec in May 2001 as a private Startup Company called Surf&Call Solutions Ltd. At Surf&Call Solutions Mr. Amit served as the Chairman of the Board and CTO, and led the company to an acquisition by CosmoCom, the market leader in IP contact center solutions. Mr. Amit brings more than 15 years of experience in various communications and engineering organizations, including IET (ClickSoftware) and in the Israel Defense Force. Mr. Amit holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and several patents/patent applications in the field of VoIP and Web Enabled Call Centers. |
