Ramyar M. Farid is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, where his practice focuses on patent matters, with special emphasis in the area of patent prosecution and counseling. He previously served as a patent agent at the Firm.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ramyar was a patent examiner in the Valves and Fluid Handling division of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined patent applications pertaining to complex fluid control systems and all types of flow controlling valves.
Ramyar received a bachelor�s degree in mechanical engineering. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and in the District of Columbia.
