Randy Horn is president and chief executive officer of Colonial Supplemental Insurance. He joined the company in March 2004 after a 27-year career with Mutual of Omaha.
Mr. Horn served as executive vice president of individual financial services at Mutual of Omaha and president of Companion Life Insurance Company (a New York subsidiary) from 1999 to 2003. He previously served as executive vice president of group benefit services and has held leadership positions in risk management, claims and actuarial departments. Mr. Horn also has experience as an employee benefits consultant with Towers Perrin Forster & Crosby and as an actuarial assistant with Occidental Life.
Mr. Horn is a board member of the Palmetto Business Forum, the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, EngenuitySC, the Central South Carolina Alliance, and Palmetto Health Children's Hospital.
Mr. Horn holds a bachelor's degree in actuarial science from Drake University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation. |
