Biography
Randall G. Quick joined Kelly Hart & Hallman in 1999 and is now a partner in the firm�s Real Estate practice group. He obtained his mechanical engineering degree from Trinity University in 1980 and spent over fifteen years in the construction industry with a general contractor based in San Antonio, Texas. During his time in the construction industry, Mr. Quick contracted for and supervised the construction of various highway, heavy industry and municipal utility projects for both public and private owners. Subsequently, Mr. Quick attended Southern Methodist University School of Law, where he graduated, cum laude, in 1999.
Mr. Quick�s years of experience in the construction industry prepared him for his current practice concentration in the negotiation and preparation of architect�s agreements, engineering agreements, construction contracts, and other sophisticated agreements relating to the development of real estate projects, including office and retail developments, museums and performing arts centers, mixed-use developments, and other projects. In doing so, Mr. Quick has represented a wide variety of clients, including private educational institutions, museums, public entities, private developers and corporate owners, as well as design professionals and contractors. He has also developed a practice concentration in agreements relating to the management and operation of real estate projects as well as utility cogeneration agreements, restaurant and food service agreements, easement agreements, equipment purchases, and demolition contracts.
Randall and his wife, Pam, have two children. Randall enjoys reading, music and building computers.
He is an audiophile with an eclectic taste in music, although his current preference is for modern jazz. His favorite books include everything written by Robert Heinlein and any good mystery.

Representation of private owners with regard to the design and construction of high rise office buildings in various downtown locations, including projects in Fort Worth, Texas and Washington, D.C. Representations included the preparation and negotiation of agreements for design, construction, construction management, interior design, furniture acquisition, security and food services, and the coordination of the construction and design agreements with development agreements, loan documents and build-to-suit leases
Representation of the owner with regard to the construction of a national headquarters campus, including the preparation of an $80 million guaranteed maximum price agreement with the general contractor
Representation of a supplier/general contractor with regard to the construction of a bulk hazardous material receiving station at a microchip fabrication facility, including the negotiation of agreements with the fab owner and a major subcontractor for the construction of the facility
Representation of the owner with regard to the construction of a new museum of modern art, including the preparation of a guaranteed maximum price agreement with the general contractor and various consulting and service agreements, including security system installation, the construction and installation of archival storage facilities and a film production agreement for a high definition documentary covering the design and construction of the museum
Representation of the owner with regard to the construction of a new major exhibit area occupying eight acres at a nationally renowned public zoo, including the preparation of guaranteed maximum price agreements with general contractors for the construction of the exhibit and the design and construction of the displays within the exhibit, various consulting and service agreements and a film production agreement for a short documentary to be shown as part of the exhibit
