Randall J. Gort is the Senior Vice President, C.L.O., and Secretary of WorldGate. Mr. Gort has been WorldGate's chief legal council since 1997. In this capacity he oversees all legal and corporate matters for the Company.
Before joining WorldGate, Mr. Gort was General Counsel, Secretary, and Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs for Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc., of Valley Forge, Pa. Mr. Gort was in private practice from August 1994 through June 1995, and before that served as an Associate General Counsel for Commodore International Ltd. Earlier, Mr. Gort was with Schlumberger Ltd., first as Senior Attorney, later as General Counsel, for the company's FACTRON Division.
His legal career started in 1979, when he signed on as counsel for various divisions of the 3M Company, including Medical and Surgical Products, Orthopedic Products, Electro-Mechanical Resources, and 3M's four Tape divisions.
Mr. Gort earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and a J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Gort is active in multiple civic and religious organizations. |
