Randy Nelson, VP Cerner LifeSciences, joined Cerner Corporation in June 2005. Nelson was named VP of LifeSciences in May 2006 and oversees business development and sales aspects of Cerner LifeSciences. Mr. Nelson was designated to lead Cerner LifeSciences due to extensive background in pharmaceutical and medical devices.
Prior to Joining to Cerner LifeSciences, Mr. Nelson was President of North America for Edwards LifeSciences in Irvine, Calif. Mr. Nelson has also served as CEO and Chairman of two medical device companies located in California and has 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing with Eli Lilly and Company.
Mr. Nelson is a graduate of Samford University School of Pharmacy and has completed executive MBA courses at the following business schools: Fuqua School of Business, Babson School of Business, and Wharton School of Business. |
