Randall Hoeflein joined Rockwell Automation as vice president, Continuous Improvement in February 2007. In this role, Hoeflein provides global leadership and strategic direction for the company�s continuous improvement efforts in quality, customer satisfaction and Lean Six Sigma.
Hoeflein has extensive experience in quality management across a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Rockwell Automation he served as vice president of Quality for Honeywell Transportation Systems, a $4.5 billion global division of Honeywell International. Hoeflein set the strategic direction and led the efforts of a 500+ member team to achieve customer satisfaction and minimize warranty costs through improvements in reliability, plan and supplier quality, and contract management.
From 2000-2005, Hoeflein served as vice president of Quality for Marconi, a $2.9 billion telecommunications company later acquired by Ericsson. As a member of the senior leadership team, he helped engineer a company turnaround, taking the company from the brink of bankruptcy to being re-listed and profitable. Hoeflein also spent time in quality leadership roles with Millipore Microelectronics and Otis Elevator Company, a division of United Technologies.
Hoeflein is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Manager and Certified TQM instructor. He earned a bachelor�s degree in electrical engineering from Old Dominion University, and a master�s degree in business administration from the University of New Haven. |
