Randy Wells provides mergers & acquisitions services throughout the United States, primarily to mid-size and larger cable companies. He has advised clients on a wide range of strategic engagements involving more than 70 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $4 billion. In addition to representing both independent and larger multiple systems operators with the sale of their properties, he has assisted buyers with growth strategies through acquisitions and joint ventures in selective markets. He initiated and advised the joint venture between TCA Cable TV and AT&T, representing 365,000 basic subscribers in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico. He has been an industry leader in cable system trades. He has managed trades involving cable systems owned by AT&T, TCA Cable TV, CableOne Inc., Cox Communications, Buford Television, Classic Communications and Multimedia. Mr. Wells has been active in a number of cable transactions in Mexico. He has advised combined systems sales representing more than one million cable households throughout the country. Mr. Wells joined Daniels in 1988 after a career in real estate, restaurant franchising and management. He has an MBA in finance from the University of Denver and a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma. |
