Ravi Ramachandran, Founder and Vice President of Microelectronics, has more than 12 years of hands-on experience in IC design and mixed-signal integration at several large companies as well as start-ups. In addition to his vast technical expertise, he also is a skilled manager who excels in the rapid design of high-quality semiconductor products.
As Design Manager at Avio Digital, Ramachandran was responsible for getting two chips ready for tape-out in only 10 months. As Design Manager at Centillium, he produced four ICs for residential ADSL in two years products that generated substantial corporate revenue in this market.
At National Semiconductor, he managed the company's IP reuse methodology team and designed a co-processor for ARM- based systems. He began his career at LSI Logic, where he was a key contributor to LSI's CoreWare integration methodology and designed several modules for high-performance graphic engines for LSI's key customers.
Ramachandran holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from PSGTech (India) and a master's degree in computer engineering from Oregon State University. |
