Ravi Subramanian has been closely involved with the wireless communications and DSP industries for fifteen years, currently as the President and CEO of Berkeley Design Automation. In 1998, Ravi was co-founder of Morphics Technology where he led the development of programmable multi-mode baseband ASSPs for CDMA/WCDMA applications, eventually becoming President. Before Morphics, Ravi was with Synopsys where he held marketing and business-line responsibilities. Ravi was with AT&T Bell Laboratories where he was a key member of the team that developed the world's first merchant chipset for GSM digital cellular applications. Ravi has authored over 25 refereed publications, and is listed as an inventor or co-inventor on 8 issued patents. Ravi received his BSEE from the California Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. |
