Rebecca is the Manager of the SOURCE Cooper Lighting Center. In this position she develops course content, oversees capital projects for new construction and renovations and the day to day operations of the Source facility. Prior to joining Cooper Lighting in January 2001, Rebecca taught design in academia, and was coordinator of an academic program responsible for curriculum and program outcomes. As an assistant professor she conducted research on lighting solutions for the elderly and taught lighting as a part of the design curriculum. Rebecca is Lighting Certified (LC) by NCQLP (National Association on Qualifications for Lighting Professionals). As a professional member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America she is active on several committees and has taken an active role in the Teachers of Lighiting Workshop hosted by IESNA and Cooper Lighting in 2007 at the SOURCE. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a Masters degree in Interior Design and Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Design. |
