Reese Schroeder is a Managing Director of Motorola Ventures. He actively reviews, invests, and manages the global equity opportunities strategic to Motorola's core and emerging businesses. The mission of Motorola Ventures is to accelerate sustainable bottom line growth for Motorola through investments in new technologies, new businesses and new talent. Prior to joining Motorola Ventures, Reese was a Director in Motorola's Corporate Development and Strategic Transactions Group where he was responsible for a wide variety of merger, acquisition and divestiture activity. During his tenure with Motorola, Reese also held a variety of positions in Motorola's wireless infrastructure business. Prior to joining Motorola, Reese was Vice President of Sales and Administration for Bristol Container Corp., a midwest-based manufacturer of chemical transportation containers. He also engaged in the practice of law for a brief period of time. In 1981, Reese graduated from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois in with a B.A. majoring in Political Science. He also received his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1984. |
