Regina M. Amesearned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of California at Berkeley where she graduated with distinction. She received her Juris Doctor degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law. While in law school, Ms. Ames was awarded a Certificate of Excellence in Moot Court and was a Public Interest Law Scholar. Ms. Ames' practice focuses primarily on the prosecution of securities class actions. She is a part of the Enron litigation team which has recovered $7.3 billion for investors to date. Her current caseload also includes pending actions against Petco, Forest Laboratories, and Constar, among others. Ms. Ames was also on the Dynegy litigation team which recovered $468 million for the company's shareholders. She is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to practice in the Central and Southern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. |
