Reinhard Pauls, a director in LECG's Wellington office, advises primarily on regulatory economics and public policy, and has particular interests in healthcare and energy markets. Dr. Pauls has extensive experience in public policy analysis, economics and litigation management. His professional background includes senior analytical and management positions in public and private sector organisations. From 1991 to 1993, he worked in the New Zealand Treasury on health sector reforms and subsequently as deputy general manager of the NZ Pharmaceutical Management Agency. Since 1997, he has been consulting to New Zealand and Australian government agencies and major industry clients. Prior to joining LECG, he was a principal with PHB Asia Pacific, a senior advisor to STA Ltd., and ran his own independent consulting practice.
Dr. Pauls received a licentiate in economics from the St. Gall Graduate School of Economics, Business and Public Administration, Switzerland, and a PhD in resource management from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. |
