Experience
Ms. Madden practices in the area of estate planning as well as tangentially related business and real property matters. Her goal is to provide her client with peace of mind planning. Ms. Madden rejects the cookie cutter approach to estate planing. Instead, she talks at length with her client to be sure she understands what is important to that person and then crafts the documents to carry out those wishes. Ms. Madden is careful to explain the practical implications of the resulting plan so that the client is comfortable in knowing precisely how his or her loved ones will be provided for.
Ms. Madden comes to the practice of law after a successful career in college publishing. She finished in the top ten percent of her law school class at the University of Baltimore where she completed the Estate Planning Concentration. She has worked on QPRTs, CRATs, and ILIT rescues and has a particular interest in the Generation Skipping Transfer Tax.
