Ren�e Zipprich's practice focuses on commercial litigation matters, with a primary emphasis on complex consumer class action litigation, intellectual property, and antitrust and trade regulation.
Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Zipprich's practice focused on antitrust, employment discrimination, consumer fraud and shareholder actions. Ms. Zipprich is an active member of the American Bar Association, and has authored several articles on class action litigation. While in law school, Ms. Zipprich externed at the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and was senior articles editor for the Annals of Health Law Health and Policy Law Review 2002-2003. She also earned the CALI Award for highest achievement in Antitrust.
Ms. Zipprich is an active member of the Dykema Women's Business Initiative, and chaired the Initiative's first annual event in March, 2006.

Currently defending federal patent litigation matter involving several commercial cookware design patents.
Representing national manufacturer of power meters in patent litigation wherein defendant's products infringe at least ten different patents.
Represent major insurance carrier in defense of putative nationwide class action alleging deceptive practices and breach of contract in connection with so-called "Silent PPO's".
Tried breach of contract, consumer fraud, and battery case involving commercial interior design dispute.
Defeated two federal antitrust actions brought by physicians alleging violations of the Sherman Act arising out of denial of hospital privileges.
Defense of banks, mortgage companies, insurance companies and retailers in Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) putative class actions arising out of prescreened offers of credit.
Defense of national banks and finance companies in putative class actions alleging improper assessment of discharge recordation fees.
Defense of numerous class actions alleging violations by lenders of federal Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Home Owners Equity Protection Act (HOEPA) and related statutes and regulations.
Defense and prosecution of complex antitrust class actions involving price-fixing, conspiracies to restrain trade, and other anticompetitive conduct.
Litigated class action alleging violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 based on a sexually hostile work environment.
