Rhonda L. Seegal is treasurer of Xerox Corporation, Stamford, Conn., effective April 21, 2003. She is also a corporate vice president. Seegal oversees the capital structure of the corporation, including developing worldwide funding strategies and serving as the primary interface to the capital markets and credit rating agencies.
Seegal joined Xerox in 2003 from Avaya Inc., where she was vice president and treasurer since 2000. Prior to Avaya, Seegal served as deputy treasurer of General Electric Co. from 1996-2000, responsible for developing financing for GE's industrial businesses. From 1986-1996, she held a number of finance positions at The Perkin-Elmer Corp., rising to corporate vice president and treasurer. She was previously domestic treasurer at Data General Corp. and an assistant vice president at Citicorp (USA) Inc.
Seegal earned a master's degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School in 1979. She graduated from Simmons College in Boston, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in communications and Spanish in 1972. |
